There are kiosks in malls and tourist places where you can pose for a sketch-type picture. I have had a lot of success using these public places. That was my expectation when I tried Photo-to-Sketch Std. 4.0. I was very disappointed that the output didn\'t come close to the quality of the print from a kiosk. However, the program allows a lot of tweaking and the result is an interesting rendering of the original JPG picture. So I adjusted my thinking and expectations. I have just started to utilize FotoSketcher but, as it is very straightforward and easy to work with, I have already experienced some initial success! This Photo sketch is cool my family and friends like it they want to get it

I liked the Photo to Sketch 3.51. It did better than the Print shop 22 that I have been using. The only thing I noticed is that you can\'t have any shadows in your picture or it will pick them up.

Yeah, Ok... I'd love to review it, but after the download I looked around for installation instructions but could not find any. Is it stand-alone? Is it a plug-in? I thought it was a plug-in, but could not find any way to "plug it in!" I'm clueless, so clearer instructions would have been very helpful in my case..

What software platform does it run on What software platform does the cartoonizer run on...is it photoshop, fireworks, corel draw?

Novice perspective I am a complete novice with VirtualDub and had no problem immediately outputting with the plugin. On the downside the audio didn't fair well but that's easily overcome with editing. Also, I may find the solution by tweaking the threshold settings but in drawing mode the lines move quite a bit from frame to frame. Example, carpeting looked like rippling water they way the lines changed from frame to frame. But hey - great results for a completely free plugin!

did not install I did not install the screensaver because I did not want the toolbar installed onto my internet explorer page or popups.

Cartoonist I wanted to write a comic book with real pictures in cartoon forms and in Google search I found Cartoonist. I thought it was a product which would cost a lot of money and I am a poor writer who can't afford to pay much but I was delighted to download Cartoonist. To my delight when I installed it , the software did not demand anything and it started working beautifully. I have been lost in making a lot of cartoons.Thanks to the Cartoonist.Rajasir

I have no comment about this screensaver because no matter how I tried I couldn\'t find it to down load. When I clicked on download link it took me to another page and I was unable to find cartoon cats to down load. I am dissappointed to say the least.
